NonProfitWays was a community site that I created for the purpose of matching up new developers interested in learning asp.net while paired with seasoned developers to develop websites for Not for Profit organizations. By connecting these groups everybody benefitted in the end. New developers had an opportunity to get hands on experience working on a public site under the guidance of seasoned developers and the not for profit organization had a high quality website built for them at no cost. The overarching goal was to provide a vehicle for teaching, learning and helping a Not for profit organization in their community.
